Inspired by the French sociologist and phycologist Baudrillard’s classification of objects, the multi-disciplinary Milanese design agency Studiopepe has created a series of works featuring emotive, organic forms set across a series of colorful table settings. Il Sistema Degli Oggetti, or SDO 03 for short, combines a vase and a cup in textured white – set atop a tablecloth of deep maroon and baby blue. Bold yet restrained, the composition speaks of Studiopepe’s unique eye for colour, form and texture.
