ABOUT THE POSTER DESIGN
The natural lines formed as the tides rise and fall formed the inspiration for Sand Lines by German artist and designer Ästhet. The composition consists of textural beige lines on a bold black background, overlapping as each wave leaves its individual mark in the sand. Simple yet strong, this piece follows Ästhet’s exploration into combining reduced and clean formations with abstract references and inspirations.
ABOUT THE POSTER DESIGNER
Ästhet is the Hannover based studio of artist and designer Anne Schäfer. Inspired by natural forms and contemporary art, Ästhet creates contemporary compositions that are both minimal and expressive. Creating artwork on paper, the studio also experiments with clay, textiles, photography and etching with motifs that merge Scäfer’s training in communication design with a hands-on approach to process and form.
